8/29 Raw TV Ratings – Full Break Down of Monday’s Universal Title match show

Monday’s WWE Raw increased from post-Summerslam Raw in the overall TV Rating and viewership.

August 29: The Raw brand’s big show to determine a new Universal champion scored a 2.38 TV rating, up from a 2.34 for post-Summerslam Raw.

It was the highest rating in two months dating back to the post-Money in the Bank show when Dean Ambrose won the WWE Title.

However, Raw’s demographic ratings declined from last week’s show. Adults 18-49 was down less than one-tenth, while males 18-34 and males 18-49 were both down more than one-tenth of a rating. It appears Raw’s increase came from older viewers outside of the 18-49 window.

– Raw’s three hours averaged 3.413 million viewers, up about 100,000 viewers (3 percent) from last week’s show.

• First Hour: 3.392 million viewers (most since post-MITB)
• Second Hour: 3.438 million viewers (most since post-MITB)
• Third Hour: 3.409 million viewers (most since post-MITB)

The Streak continued of third hour viewership declining from the second hour despite the Universal Title match. This marks 24 consecutive weeks.

The silver lining is the decline was only one percent and the third hour drew the most viewers since post-MITB Raw two months ago.

Compared to last week’s post-Summerslam Raw, the third hour was up 300,000 viewers.
