SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE announced Monday that Finn Balor sustained a right shoulder injury during the Universal Title match against Seth Rollins at Summerslam.
Balor won the Universal Title in his first WWE PPV match, but now the question is whether Balor will be able to keep the title.
WWE is teasing follow-up Monday night on Raw TV, including information on whether Balor will be able to compete in the near future.
WWE also released footage from the match of Rollins’s running bucklebomb into the guardrail being the claimed source of Balor’s injury. That is expected to be highlighted on Raw.
WWE’s next Raw brand PPV is in one month at the “Clash of Champions” PPV on September 25, giving WWE some time to determine whether Balor will be able to keep and defend the title.

Sting. Cena. Balor. For Rollins, should it be three strikes and you are out?
I can just imagine what’s going through Vince’s mind… “This happens every time I put a title on one of these fragile little midgets!”
