August 16: Smackdown Live rebounded from a big downturn last week in social media activity.

Total social media interactions increased 27 percent in Nielsen’s new Social Content Ratings after falling 24 percent last week.

– Twitter: Smackdown drew 18,000 uniques, up from 15k last week, and 78,000 tweets, up from 61k last week.

– Facebook: Smackdown drew 69,000 uniques, up from 60k last week, and 117,000 Facebook posts, up from 93,000 last week.

– TOTAL: Smackdown’s total uniques were 87,000, up from 76k last week, and there were 195,000 interactions, up 27 percent from 154k last week.

– Ranking: Smackdown ranked #2 among series & specials on Tuesday night, trailing “Pretty Little Liars.”
