WWE is running an injury angle that Big E. is out indefinitely from in-ring action.
Monday on Raw, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows posted Big E. in the groin, which led to WWE hyping an injury situation to Big E.
On Friday, WWE said “it is unknown at this time” when the WWE tag champion will return to the ring.
New Day is expected to defend the WWE Tag Titles against The Club at Summerslam, but it remains to be seen if Big E. is part of the equation.
In the immediate future, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E. are all advertised for this weekend’s WWE house show tour in California.
