The Super J Cup returned Wednesday in Japan featuring matches from several promotions and factions. The event aired on New Japan’s “New Japan World” streaming service and is now available on-demand.
(1) Matt Sydal (ROH) beat Tomato (Kaientai Dojo) in the opener. Tomato tried to protect his stuffed toy tomatoes from Sydal, not trusting the American opposition. Sydal eventually won with a top-rope Air Sydal. Respect was shown afterward. A good opener to kick off the tournament.
