WWE’s Extreme Rules PPV feels like the end of immediate post-WrestleMania season Sunday night in Newark, New Jersey.
WWE carried over post-Mania feuds from Payback to Extreme Rules on a three-week turnaround. The next PPV, Money in the Bank, is in the middle of June, setting the stage for some finality at Extreme Rules.
Included is Roman Reigns vs. A.J. Styles in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE World Title following up on their first encounter at Payback.
Plus, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho are inside a steel cage, Charlotte defends the Women’s Title against Natalya in a Payback re-match, and New Day pays off the #1 contender tag tournament against The Vaudevillains.
Plus, The Club’s Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows face The Usos in another installment of their series, Kalisto defends the U.S. Title against Ryback’s replacement Rusev, and The Miz defends the IC Title in a four-way match trying to convince fans that the heel champion is going to lose.
