WWE Video – A.J. Styles in weekly interview – getting extreme to win WWE Title from Roman Reigns, associating with Karl & Doc, more

A.J. Styles returned to Michael Cole’s weekly interview on WWE’s website to hype his WWE Title match against Roman Reigns at the Extreme Rules PPV on Sunday.

The interview highlighted Styles’s change since arriving in WWE. In previous Michael Cole interviews, Styles was happy go-lucky and just excited to be in WWE. Now, Styles’s chase for the WWE Title and accusations about his storyline relationship with Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows have given him an edge.

Asked how he can associate with heels like Anderson & Gallows, Styles said they formed a deep bond in Japan that cannot be broken. He said they’re like your friends that you know don’t always do the right thing, but he will always have their back.

Styles also talked about wanting the WWE Title because he’s won titles everywhere else he’s been and he wants to increase his bank account to provide for his family. Styles said Reigns is standing in his way, so he will do whatever it takes to beat Reigns.

Styles reiterated that he believes he does not need The Club’s help to beat Reigns, but if he senses The Usos getting involved in the match, he won’t hesitate to call in reinforcements since it’s an Extreme Rules match. “I’ll do anything and everything it takes to be the WWE World Hvt. champion,” Styles closed the interview.
