[HOUR ONE]

-They opened with an aerial scene of Bridgestone Arena as Michael Cole introduced the show. Then they showed Rey Mysterio, Logan Paul, Lyra Valkyria, Bayley, and A.J. Styles (wearing a Philadelphia Eagles cap) arriving at the arena.

-They cut to Jey Uso in the concourse and then making his way down the aisle into the main bowl of the arena amongst cheering fans. He slapped hands with Pat McAfee and Cole at ringside. He then entered the ring and danced with fans for several more minutes. Jey moved to standing on the announce desk and danced with the crowd more. Gunther then attacked him seven minutes into the show.

(Keller’s Analysis: That went on so long, I was beginning to think anyone who attacked Jey at this point might be cheered by a sizable portion of the audience. The enthusiasm for Jey is something special, but doing it for the third straight show – counting last week’s Raw and Smackdown – felt like tempting fate a bit.)

After two minutes on the attack, a group of referees and producer Petey Williams ran out to try to stop Gunther. Gunther walked a few steps away, then turned back and powerbombed Jey. Fans booed. Gunther left the ring. Jey struggled to sit up, mic in hand, and called out to Gunther. He said, “Maybe I shouldn’t say this, but you and me at WrestleMania.” Cole praised Jey’s balls. Gunther charged back to the ring. Jey met him on the ring apron and knocked him down, and then dove over the top rope onto Gunther and a gathering of security guards. Cole wondered if Jey let his emotions get the best of him. McAfee said this is a different Jey than they’ve ever seen before. He said he wants to dethrone Gunther and he loves it.

-Cole commented on last week’s happenings with Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.

-Cathy Kelley interviewed Rhea Ripley backstage. She asked about the regret she felt over how things went with Sky. Ripley said everyone is waiting for “the top girl” to make her decision, but it feels like she’s stalling and wasting everyone’s time to try to stay relevant. Sky approached Ripley and said she is coming for her. Ripley said she can’t wait and she’ll see her then.

-Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez made their entrance.

(1) RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ & LIV MORGAN vs. DAKOTA KAI & IYO SKY

The bell rang 21 minutes into the hour. Liv scored a two count on Sky after a bulldog. Dakota tagged in and took control against Liv. Raquel side-stepped a Dakota kick at ringside and then rammed her into the ringpost at 5:00. [c]

Back from the break, Raquel had Dakota grounded in a chinlock. Cole touted over 13,000 in attendance as they showed a wide shot of the crowd. Sky tagged in and dove onto both Liv and Raquel at ringside. Back in the ring, she landed a top rope dropkick and then kipped up and flipped before playing to the crowd. She charged into the corner with double-knees and scored a two count.

Liv landed a tandem oblivion with Raquel for a near fall. Sky lifted her knees when Raquel powerbombed Liv onto her. She then ducked an angry charging Raquel. Sky ran over and tagged in Dakota. Dakota landed a sunset bomb onto her knees for a near fall, broken up by Raquel at 12:00. Raquel swung Liv into Sky and then Dakota which led to Liv suffering a laceration near her right temple. Raquel then powerbombed Liv onto Sky. Dakota avoided a spinning elbow by Raquel, but Liv landed an Oblivion. Sky broke up the cover with a running knee. All four were down and slow to get up.

Sky eventually went on a flurry of offense and landed an Over the Sky moonsault for the three count on Liv.

WINNER: Sky & Kai in 16:00.

-They went to Cole and McAfee at ringside. Cole said Sami Zayn has suffered spinal compression and extreme nerve damage from what Kevin Owens did to him last week. They also showed video clips of past Sami actions with the matching snippets of what KO said was justification for his attack.

-They showed Valkyria and Bayley each walking backstage. [c]

-A clip aired of Gunther reacting to a contestant on LFG as a teaser for the series. She meekly said how hard she’s going to try and how she wants to tell a story in the ring and entertain fans. He said nobody cares if she’s going to try and he suggested she find some grit. (He’s a mean Mr. Miyagi: “There is no try, just do, you weak fool!”)

-They showed Roxanne Perez in the crowd who will get a qualifier match next week against Rodriguez. Cole said Perez earned it due to how long she lasted in the Rumble. They then showed George Kittle in the crowd.

(2) LYRA VALKYRIA vs. BAYLEY – Elimination Chamber Qualifier match

The bell rang 47 minutes into the hour. Cole said Valkyria looked up to Bayley while growing up in Ireland. Cole talked about Bayley and Sasha Banks winning a tag team Chamber match in 2019. Valkyria countered Bayley’s attempt at Rose Plant and scored a two count. Bayley took her down with a forearm seconds later. Valkyria threw Bayley to the floor seconds later and then wrecking ball kicked her as they cut to a break at 3:00. [c]

Back from the break, Bayley had Valkyria grounded. Bayley landed a sunset flip buckle bomb, then leaped off the top rope with an elbowdrop attempt, but Valkyria lifted her knees. She went for a tornado DDT, but Bayley rolled through and landed a Bayley-to-Belly for two count.

Valkyria landed a tornado DDT at ringside followed by a fisherman’s suplex. In the ring, she landed another fisherman’s suplex for a near fall at 10:00. After more back and forth action, Bayley countered a roll-up for a three count. They showed Kittle standing and cheering for her because she’s from the Bay Area where he plays NFL football.

Bayley helped Valkyria stand and smiled and congratulated her on the match. Valkyria smiled and raised Bayley’s arm.

WINNER: Bayley in 12:00 to qualify for the Chamber.

(Keller’s Analysis: Good match. I was expecting a Bayley win rather than putting a secondary champion in there with so little experience on the main roster at this point.)

-A Penta vignette aired. He talked about having no fear as clips aired of his wins on Raw so far.

-Jackie Redmond interviewed Ludwig Kaiser for a reaction to what Penta said. Kaiser said he won’t stop until Penta is done for good. Pete Dunne interrupted and told him he wasn’t helping him, he just got in his way. Kaiser asked if he was implying he needed his help. Dunne said he’s going to break Penta next week so bad, he’ll wish he never stepped foot on Raw. Kaiser said he’s all his, then. Dunne told him to stay out of his business. Kaiser smiled. A.J. Styles walked right past Kaiser for his return to Raw. [c]

-Backstage, Otis, Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri told Valkyria how great she looked. Ivy Nile and the Creeds walked in and laughed at her. Nile said the Creeds are leaving tonight as new tag champions and she would see Valkyria soon.

-They showed Hardy in the front row, a country music singer and songwriter.

-Styles made his ring entrance to his usual theme. Cole talked about him returning at the Royal Rumble two weekends ago and called him one of the best-ever in WWE. Fans chanted, “A.J. Styles!” He talked about being excited about his last return, only to get injured right away. Fans chanted, “Welcome back.” Styles said he looked in the mirror and saw that he still has gas in his tank. He said it’ll be hard, but he is telling the fans that he is back. “And I’ve got a long to-do list,” he said. He said he “is still the Phenomenal A.J. Styles.” Dominik Mysterio and Carlito interrupted.

Fans booed as Dom began to address Styles. They continued to boo as he entered the ring. Fans chanted, “Dom, you suck!” Styles told Dom to save his breath. He said he knows exactly who they are. He asked where Damien Priest went. He made fun of Carlito in “purple skinny jeans.” He said nobody likes Dom. He said he’s kind of inspired by Dom’s work ethic, though. He said he busts his ass and is there every night. He said he will “always be Rey Mysterio’s punk-ass kid.” Dom and Carlito went after Styles. Styles gave Carlito a Pelé kick. Dom attacked Styles. Styles made a comeback. Dom fled the ring. Styles then gave Carlito a Phenomenal Forearm as Dom watched from ringside.

-A recap aired of the Jey-Gunther angle earlier.

-Redmond introduced Seth Rollins while standing on a landing at the top of the lower bowl. She asked Seth about C.M. Punk, John Cena, and Drew McIntyre have qualified, and later either Rey Mysterio or Logan Paul will qualify. She said next week he’ll have his chance against Finn Balor to qualify. Seth said all eyes are on the Chamber. He said all eyes are on him. Balor interrupted. He said all eyes are on him, but what they’re seeing is the downfall of Seth Rollins. He said they are all seeing the cracks, including his loss to Punk on the Netflix debut and then him losing his mind at the Rumble. He said the only thing standing between him winning the Chamber and going to WrestleMania to win the WWE Title is “a guy who is falling apart.”

Seth asked if he really believes that. He said he and Balor go way back, and anyone who knows their history knows they put on a show when they battle inside the ring. Seth said he has unfinished business with Punk and some loose ends with Cody Rhodes, so the way he sees it, it’s Balor standing in his way, not the other way around. He said after next week, Balor won’t be standing at all.

-They showed Logan and Rey separately warming up backstage. [c]

-They went to Cole and McAfee at ringside. McAfee was shown looking with a bald head and then a receding hairline with a mustache. Cole asked if he was Sipowicz from the ABC detective show “NYPD Blue.”

-Styles told G.M. Adam Pearce he wanted a match against Dom next week. Pearce agreed to it. Bron Breakker walked up to Styles afterward and stared at him. Styles stared back. “See you around,” said Breakker.

-They showed NFL player Golden Tate in the crowd. Then they showed Bailey Zimmerman, a country singer and songwriter, in the crowd.

(3) THE WAR RAIDERS vs. THE CREED BROTHERS – WWE Tag Team Title match

The bell rang 36 minutes into the hour. Cole noted that Chad Gable was on a retreat to learn about the art of Lucha Libre. They cut to a break at 2:00. [c]

Deep into the match, Erik scored a near fall on Brutus. Ivar tagged in and was distracted briefly by Julius yanking Erik off the ring apron. Brutus then gave an Angle Slam to Ivar for a near fall. Ivar made a comeback and knocked both Creeds over with a back elbow. He then climbed to the top rope. Ivy distracted him. Julius superplexed Ivar and then Brutus landed a top rope moonsault for a near fall. Erik broke up the cover. All four were down and slow to get up at 11:00. Fans chanted, “This is awesome!” Cole told McAfee, “You can tell we’re on the road to WrestleMania.” Erik and Ivar double-teamed Brutus, but Julius hit Ivar with a tag title belt. The ref DQ’d the Creeds. The Creeds continued their attack. Cole said this was as much about making a statement as anything else.

WINNERS: The War Raiders via DQ in 12:00 so the Raiders retained the tag titles.

(Keller’s Analysis: I suppose you can argue Julius thought they were going to lose, so that was a face-saving move to lose their chance to win the tag titles, but it’s a bad strategy unless the post-match attack leads to the Raiders demanding revenge.)

-Backstage, Balor approached Dom, who had Liv leaning back in is lap. Dom said he doesn’t care about Damage CTRL because things are going well for them. Balor said Styles just made Dom look like a fool. Dom said Balor is the fool for not coming out to help. Balor said he started things with Styles, so he can deal with it himself. Dom said maybe they should add a member as they’ve been shorthanded lately. Balor said there will be no new members. Balor said he’s going to go to WrestleMania and will become WWE Champion.

-Ripley approached Iyo and Dakota. Ripley said she doesn’t owe her anything, but she’s giving Iyo a match because she wants to. She said in three weeks on the Raw after the Chamber, she will defend her title against her. Sky said she can’t wait and she will see her then.

-C.M. Punk made his entrance. [c]

-Cole hyped next week’s Raw line-up including Penta vs. Dunne, Perez vs. Rodriguez, and Styles vs. Dom.

-A clip aired of Punk talking to contestants during an LFG segment. He asked people to stand up and declare who they are. Three contestants stood up quickly.

-Punk stared at the WrestleMania sign as his music faded. Fans chanted “C.M. Punk!” He said they are on the road to WrestleMania and pointed at the sign. He said he was confident he was going to win the Rumble. “Sometimes I talk too much,” he said. He said he’s a little disappointed in himself, but he’s not mad at Jey. He said he likes to see his colleagues achieve their goals. He said earlier Jey declared he’s going after Gunther’s title, so now he knows his goal is Cody’s title.

[HOUR THREE]

Punk said he was initially upset that John Cena called his shot and entered the Chamber without qualifying, but now he’s not because Cena has earned it. He said at some point, though, he will target Cena in the Chamber. He then took some digs at Drew McIntyre. He said he ran to Smackdown to avoid him, but he’d find him in the Chamber. He then talked briefly about Seth and Balor. He said he’s never been more confident in his entire life. He said WrestleMania 41 belongs to one man, two words, and three syllables. Logan Paul’s music interrupted and he marched out to the ring. “I didn’t even know whose music this was,” quipped Punk.

Logan said he sees why they call him Punk. He said he could come up with a bunch of better names to call him that he cannot, unfortunately, say on TV. He said what he can’t understand is fans booing him and cheering Punk. Punk said if he’s lucky enough to get past Rey, he’ll see him in Toronto and put him to sleep.

-Rey’s ring entrance took place. [c]

(4) LOGAN PAUL vs. REY MYSTERIO – Elimination Chamber Qualifier match

Cole said Logan and Rey battled last November in Saudi Arabia and Logan beat Rey to win the U.S. Title there. The bell rang 10 minutes into the hour. They cut to a break at 4:00. [c]

Logan had Rey grounded after the break. At 13:00, Rey had Logan in the corner and punched away at him. Logan shifted Rey onto his shoulders and slammed him. He followed with a springboard moonsault for a two count. Logan was bleeding from his nose afterward.

Logan raised his knees on a Drop the Dime attempt, then punched Rey with his titanium fist followed by the Pulverizer for the win. Cole said four of the six spots in the Chamber are set. Logan bragged afterward about his looks and wealth.

WINNER: Logan in 17:00 to quality for the Chamber.

-As the credits appeared on the screen to end the show, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods attacked Rey. They cut away suddenly as the show ended.
