[HOUR ONE]

-They showed the Crown Jewel Title belt being brought into the arena. They showed Dominik Mysterio and the rest of The Judgment Day arriving. They also showed Seth Rollins getting out of a freight elevator.

-They went to Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett at ringside. They touted NXT Halloween Havoc from the night before on Peacock. Then they threw to a video recap of the Bron Breakker win over Jey Uso with The Bloodline involvement. Then they aired clips from last Friday’s Smackdown main event with Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso embracing as Roman Reigns looked on from the entrance stage.

-They cut to Jey Uso amongst fans in the concourse slapping hands and making his way to the ring through the crowd. Jey talked about the eventful last week. He said there’s only one person he wanted to talk to – Jimmy Uso.

Jimmy came out and thanked him for what he did last Friday on Smackdown. He said they need to be together to take down Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline. Jey cut him off, took off his sunglasses, and leaned in and said, “We’re not the ones, either.” He said the last time he saw him was a half year ago at WrestleMania fighting each other. He said a lot has happened since then. He said the fans know the difference between them now and Jimmy is No Yeet and he is Yeet. He said he became Intercontinental Champion by himself.

Jey said that doesn’t top being his twin brother, though. Jimmy reached out for a handshake. Jey poked his chest instead and said they still have stuff to fix. He said if they do this, they aren’t anybody’s side piece or “yes men.” He said they’re grown men. Jimmy nodded and smiled. Fans chanted, “Uso! Uso!” Jimmy said OTC will be on Smackdown, so he invited Jey to go there and “squash this beef.” He said he’d make sure he’s there.

Jey looked down and thought about it, then looked up and said he’d be there. He again offered a handshake, but then Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa charged into the ring. Solo and Jacob Fatu were at ringside. Solo sent Fatu into the ring and helped the heels take control and beat down the Usos,. Loa and Tama tied up Jimmy’s arms in the ropes. Solo slid Fatu a chair. Fatu put the chair around Jey’s head and neck and then charged. Jey threw the chair at him and then broke Jimmy free. Jimmy landed a superkick on Fatu, who no-sold it. The Uso stereo superkicked Fatu, sending him through the ropes. The Bloodline retreated.

(Keller’s Analysis: Good follow-up on last week’s hug. I like Jey saying they still have stuff to work out and asserting that he’s had success on his own and is demanding more respect as a result.) [c]

-They showed an aerial view of an amusement park in Hershey.

-Tessitore threw to previously unseen clips of dialog of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock earlier this year at WrestleMania. Tessitore then plugged tickets for WrestleMania next year.

-They went to G.M. Adam Pearce on his phone yelling at Nick Aldis that he only agreed to let Jey and Jimmy be at Raw, but not The Bloodline. He told Aldis to control his roster. The Judgement Day walked in. Dom asked who his “former world champion” opponent would be. Pearce said it’s someone he knows very well – Damien Priest. Carlito said, “That’s not cool.” Finn Balor gave Dom advice. Dom asked why they don’t believe in him. He said he wanted to prove he could be World Champion on his own. Balor left in frustration. J.D. McDonagh followed him.

(1) LUDWIG KAISER vs. SHEAMUS

Tessitore said Kaiser wants to rise up the ranks of contention and said a win over Sheamus would go a long way in that regard. The bell rang 24 minutes into the hour. Barrett said against Sheamus, you have to start at 11 to have a chance. “That’s very ‘Spinal Tap’ of you,” Tessitore said. (Nice.) They battled at ringside a minute in. Sheamus set up a powerbomb, but Kaiser slipped Sheamus into a guillotine. Sheamus broke it by ramming Kaiser back-first into the ringside steps. Both rolled into the ring but were down on their backs. [c]

They battled back and forth after the break. Kaiser rallied and scored a two count at 9:00. Kaiser grew frustrated and slapped away at Sheamus’s face. Sheamus absorbed it and got fired up. He chopped back at Kaiser’s chest. Kaiser kicked him. Sheamus landed a high knee and then a Brogue kick for the win.

WINNER: Sheamus in 10:00.

(Keller’s Analysis: An intense, hard-hitting match, as you’d expect from these two. It’s noteworthy they’re investing in Sheamus more than Kaiser at this point, given that finish.)

-A vignette aired with Rhea Ripley talking about facing Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel. Rhea said when Liv betrayed her, it was with malice and ego, whereas everything she’s done to Liv has been deserved. She said she’s made her down mistakes in the past, but at the end of the day, she only wants one thing, which is her Women’s World Title. “You’re going to have to kill me to stop me,” she roared.

-They showed Jimmy and Jey walking backstage chatting together. They came upon Sami Zayn. Jey hugged him and said, “What’s up, my dog.” Sami asked Jey to talk with him alone. He stared at Jimmy. Jimmy stared back. Jey asked Jimmy to give him a minute with Sami. Jimmy walked away. Sami asked if he’s really okay with Jimmy now and he’s going to go to Smackdown and act like everything is forgiven. Jey said he understands what he’s saying about Roman, but Solo is worse. Sami said Solo isn’t the one who made him jump through hoops to prove himself. Jey said it sounds like he’s siding with Solo. Sami said he’s asking him not to take either side and instead be on his own. Jey said he wouldn’t understand because he’s not family. Sami seemed a bit stung by the comment, but also seemed to be processing his point. Fans went “ohhh.” [c]

-A vignette aired on Gunther hyping his match against Cody at Crown Jewel. He told Cody to ask Randy Orton what it feels like to get choked out by him. He said Cody will fall to him and then wake up and realize he’s just the secondary champion to him.

(2) ZELINA VEGA (w/Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro) vs. IVY NILE (w/Julius Creed, Brutus Creed)

The bell rang 47 minutes into the hour. They cut to a very early break after Vega landed a meteora on Nile from the ring apron to ringside. [c]

Julius pulled Nile to safety which led to a brawl at ringside at 6:00. Nile landed a swinging uranage for the win.

WINNER: Nile in 7:00.

(Keller’s Analysis: They build in a small excuse for Vega losing when Brutus interfered.)

-Jimmy asked Jey how his talk with Sami went. Jey said he told him he isn’t family. “Well, he’s not,” said Jimmy. Jey defended Sami. “When you left, he stepped up,” he said. Jimmy said he doesn’t understand. Jimmy said he was going to go talk to Sami, but he gave him his word it wouldn’t lead to anything bad.

-They showed Seth Rollins walking backstage. [c]

-Tessitore ran down the schedule of Crown Jewel, which starts at 1 ET on Saturday.

[HOUR TWO]

-Seth made his ring entrance and the fans sang along to his entrance theme. He said he’s on the hunt for a monster. He said Bronson Reed woke something up in his soul and he kind of likes it. Reed appeared on the big screen and said he was in the parking lot waiting for him, so he could go hunt for a monster if he wanted to. Barrett said it sounded like a trap. Seth told Reed not to move and then he ran out of the ring to find him.

A camera followed Seth to the parking lot. They brawled around a trailer truck. Seth swung the back door into Reed, who crashed onto an older car hood that already had a dent in it. Seth then landed a stomp on it. Tessitore said Seth just turned Reed into a hood ornament. Seth said that the world forgot what he is capable of and that’s just a reminder. In the background, Reed recovered and tossed aside some security guys. Seth went back at him. Reed threw a trash can at Seth when Seth climbed into the back of the trailer. Reed then gave Seth a running Death Valley Driver out of the truck onto tables. Pearce yelled, “Get me medical!” Reed walked away as Seth was tended to. [c]

-Barrett and Tessitore commented on highlights of the Seth-Reed brawl. Tessitore said it’s an auto repair shop’s dream to see what happened out there. He pivoted to recapping the R-Truth-Miz situation last week on Raw.

-They showed a clip from later that night of Karrion Kross and the rest of his crew approaching Miz. Miz said things aren’t working out with them, so he wished them luck taking on the Wyatts because they should go separate ways. Kross said they should talk that through because Miz is either going to have to deal with the Wyatts together or deal with them alone.

-R-Truth approached Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine. Truth said they look better without that short guy yelling at them all the time. Miz approached Truth and apologized and said he has seen the error of his ways. He said they were tag team champions and family, and he needs family more than ever. Maxxine told him not to listen to Miz. Truth said he wanted a moment with Miz. Miz said he knew he’d understand. Truth said Awesome Truth is back and he smiled, but then he slapped a smiling Miz. “Good luck with the Wyatts!” Truth said. “You’re going to die.” Fans laughed. Truth then walked past Pete Dunne and said, “Hey Butch, have you seen Pete.”

(3) REY MYSTERIO & DRAGON LEE vs. THE WAR RAIDERS vs. THE NEW DAY (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) – WWE Tag Team Title no. 1 contendership at stake

Barrett wondered if New Day could put their issues aside and make a run at the tag titles. The bell rang 17 minutes into the hour. They cut to a very early break at 1:00. [c]

After more back and forth action, they cut to another break. [c]

At 14:00, Erik broke up Lee’s cover on Kofi. Barrett called it “the later stages of the match.” (How would he know that? This could go 45 minutes for all he knows, right?) Fans chanted “This is awesome!” as all three were down after a flurry of moves. Xavier chopped away at Dragon’s chest. Xavier had a chance to land a double-team move that Kofi had set up, but he chose to chase after Rey who stepped onto the ring apron. Rey ducked and Xavier flew to ringside and crash-landed. Dragon then set up Kofi for a 619 and then leaped over him onto Xavier at ringside. Chad Gable stopped Rey from landing the 619. The War Raiders then delivered a springboard Doomsday Device for the win. The announcers made a big deal out of Xavier choosing to go after Rey rather than complete the double-team finisher Kofi had set up for them.

WINNERS: War Raiders in 17:00 to earn a WWE Tag Team Title match.

-They went to Barrett and Tessitore at ringside. Tessitore said Seth suffered a back injury and he has been sent to a local medical facility getting tests done.

-Backstage, Miz was ranting to Pearce about needing security with so many people coming after him. Pearce laughed. Miz asked why. Kross and his Final Testament crew approached Miz. Kross said he had a plan for Miz which is go find Bo Dallas and tell him to stay out of their business or he’s going to break Miz’s legs.

-Damien Priest made his ring entrance. [c]

-A video aired with Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks announcing that WWE would return to MSG on Dec. 26 for their annual holiday tour.

-They showed Jimmy asking a backstage worker if he’s seen Sami. The guy said no. Jey walked up to Jimmy and asked if he’s talked to Sami yet. They noticed that Sami was chatting with Solo in the parking lot. Jimmy told Jey that he told him family is all they’ve got, so they have to go at the new Bloodline with Roman Reigns and no one else. “Yeet,” he said. Jey soaked up the situation.

(4) DOMINIK MYSTERIO vs. DAMIEN PRIEST

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez came out with Dom, but then left so Dom walked to the ring alone, as he requested earlier. The bell rang 47 minutes into the hour. Priest went on the initial attack. Dom set up a 619, but Priest moved and kicked Dom and then threw him to the floor. Priest whipped Dom into the ringside barricade. Dom made a comeback and dove through the ropes and tackled Priest into the ringside announce desk. [c]

Priest rallied after the break and signaled for a South of Heaven. Dom retreated to ringside. Barrett said it would’ve been game over if he walked into that. Priest then knocked Dom over the announce desk. McDonagh and Carlito came out to help Dom. Priest fought back and jabbed Carlito and McDonagh with a chair. He smashed the chair against the back of McDonagh. Priest brought a chair into the ring. He jabbed Carlito with it and then smashed it across his back. Raquel and Liv pulled Carlito to safety. Dom then rolled up Priest from behind for a three count. “An absolute shocker!” exclaimed Tessitore.

WINNER: Dom in 9:00.

-Priest gave Dom a Razor’s Edge afterward. When Carlito entered the ring to check on Dom, Priest gave him a South of Heaven chokeslam. He then gave Dom another South of Heaven. Liv looked on from ringside distraught. The ref checked on Dom. Barrett said Dom doesn’t look like the victor.
