WWE and Ryback (Ryan Reeves) have been in a trademark battle throughout 2016. The issue boiled over at the beginning of May and Ryback has not been part of WWE over the past month.
At the May 2 WWE Raw taping, there was a dispute that led to Ryback leaving Raw TV and missing a battle royal that he was advertised for during the show.
One aspect of the dispute centers on various trademarks, as first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.
The latest trademark dispute is over the term “The Big Guy.” Earlier this year, Ryback and WWE filed separately for the same “Feed Me More” trademark.
The following are the records reported at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
