SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE announcer Kyle Edwards (former wrestling talk show host Arda Ocal) has been released by WWE.
Ocal announced Friday on Twitter that he parted ways with WWE and there are “no hard feelings” either way. WWE also removed Edwards’s WWE profile from their official website.
Ocal played a few roles on WWE Network, mainly hosting a “This Week in WWE History” show. Ocal also filled in a few times for Scott Stanford hosting the Raw pre-show on Monday nights.
On Thursday, Ocal tweeted that next week would be the one-year anniversary of the “This Week in WWE History” show. Ocal will not be part of it now.
Earlier this week, WWE cut ties with backstage interviewer/Main Event TV announcer Rich Brennan. (Full Report)
