UPDATE: WWE acknowledged Bray Wyatt’s injury situation Wednesday night, reporting that Bray suffered a right calf injury. WWE did not indicate the severity of the injury.
Wyatt was subsequently pulled from the tour and replaced by Sheamus in the main events opposite WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns.

Preliminary information is Bray Wyatt suffered a leg injury on the first night of WWE’s European Tour Wednesday night in Milan, Italy.
Bray’s match against WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns was stopped and Bray was helped out of the ring by medical personnel.
An injury is unconfirmed at this point, and could be part of an angle, but it’s unlikely WWE would run a match-stoppage angle in the top advertised match of the tour.
According to fans in attendance, Bray went down a few minutes into the match and grabbed his leg. Bray was helped out of the ring clutching his left knee as the match was called off.
Assuming the injury is legitimate, it remains to be seen the severity, which could require the European Tour line-ups to be reshuffled. Or, Bray might be able to continue if this was a minor injury scare and the match was stopped as a precaution with several more shows to go on the tour.
Bray recently worked through a back injury that led to him not wrestling very often during the Road to WrestleMania.
It’s also a strange coincidence the possible injury occurred on the first night of the European Tour. Seth Rollins, as then-WWE World Hvt. champion, suffered a serious leg injury on the first night of WWE’s previous European Tour in November 2015.
