SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
Following Drew Galloway’s title win on March 15, TNA Impact is starting to fall into the pattern of Matt Hardy’s TNA Title run earlier this year with falling viewership…
TNA Impact Viewership Tracking
April 5: TNA Impact drew a combined audience of 338,000 viewers Tuesday night on Pop TV, down 13 percent from last week’s total of 388,000 viewers.
Impact’s first-run airing drew 272,000 viewers, down 12 percent from 312,000 viewers last week.
The replay then drew 66,000 viewers, down from 76,000 last week.
Overall, Drew Galloway’s title run is resembling Matt Hardy’s…

– DEMOGRAPHICS: Tuesday’s Impact drew a median age of 55.2 years-old, the oldest in three weeks.
As a result, the show fell 19 percent from last week in adults 18-49 to the lowest point since the week before Galloway won the title.
Impact maintained their females 18-49 viewership, though. With males 18-49 dropping off, the split was 55 percent m18-49 and 45 percent f18-49.
Analysis: WrestleMania Week Fatigue is worth considering in TNA’s viewership decline. TNA had no Mania Week presence and fans were likely worn out on wrestling by the time Tuesday rolled around. It will be interesting to see if next week’s show rebounds to break the five-week TNA Title run pattern.
Probably the most creative excuse I’ve heard for TNA”s poor ratings yet.
Maybe they need to bring back Awesome Kong and tell Matt Hardy’s wife to stay out of the locker room.
