SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
Sonya Deville will be the next challenger for Bianca Belair and the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
On this week’s episode of Raw, Deville claimed she had finally found Belair’s opponent. In the ring, Belair defeated Queen Zelina and Deville immediately walked to the ring to reveal the name. Deville challenged Belair to sign an open contract before Deville made the reveal and Belair quickly did so. Deville was about to make the opponent announcement, but then attacked Belair from behind. Deville then got in Belair’s face and said that she was the next challenger. Adam Pearce called what Deville pulled a gross misuse of authority, but Deville snapped back and ignored him.

Bianca Belair won the Raw Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Belair is also a former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion. Last year, she defeated Sasha Banks to win the title at WrestleMania as well.
Sonya Deville has been an on-air WWE authority official next to Adam Pearce since January of 2021. Prior to that, she was a part of the Fire and Desire tag team with Mandy Rose. In 2017, Deville joined the main roster as a stablemate of Paige. Deville signed to WWE in 2015.
There was no indication on this week’s show as to when the match between Belair and Deville would take place. WrestleMania Backlash is the next WWE PPV event in early May. If this match joins that card, it will join Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” Match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship as the only announced matches for the show.
