Bron Breakker discusses his family in the wrestling business and progress in NXT

Bron Breakker and his family are excited for the run he’s currently getting in NXT. In an interview with Wrestling Inc, Breakker spoke about his family’s reaction to him being in the business and the possibility of working alongside his father, Rick Steiner, on WWE television.

“Man, Scotty is excited. My Dad is excited. We are all excited,” Breakker said . “We are so thankful to be a part of WWE and they get to have this experience (of going into the WWE Hall of Fame). To close the last chapter of their career and go into the highest prestige you can accomplish, the WWE Hall Of Fame. It’s so cool.”

“He’s got high expectations for me,” Breakker said of his father, Rick Steiner. “He never really acknowledges that I am doing super well or anything. He’s always focused on how I can be better. Yeah, that would be cool (to work with his Dad on television). I would love that, I think the people would love that. I don’t know, we will see.”

Breakker is the current NXT Champion. He defeated Dolph Ziggler on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw to win the title. Breakker was in the main event during NXT Stand and Deliver over WrestleMania weekend. He faced Ziggler for the championship, but lost the match. This is Breakker’s second run with the NXT title.

Bron Breakker made his NXT debut when NXT 2.0 began in September of 2021. Since that point, he has been a fixture at the top of the brand each week.
