Rick Boogs suffers major injury at WrestleMania 38

Rick Boogs suffered a torn quad patella at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas.

Boogs teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to face The Usos for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship. During the match, Boogs held both Jey and Jimmy Uso on his shoulders, but collapsed to the mat and immediately grabbed his leg. The Usos won the match to retain their championships and Boogs was carried out of the ring due to the injury. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee officially confirmed the specific injury later in the show on commentary.

This was the first WrestleMania appearance for Boogs.
