The Undertaker will be the special pace car driver at the Echo Park Automotive Grand Prix this Sunday. Nascar and WWE announced the news with Fox on Saturday morning.

Appearing at Nascar races has been a popular mainstream event for WWE Superstars to take part in. Both Sasha Banks and Big E were recently involved with Banks waving the starting flag and Big E driving the pace car as well. This is the first major mainstream public event of WrestleMania week.
This appearance comes just days before Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. On Friday April 1 after WWE Smackdown, Vince McMahon will induct The Undertaker into the 2022 class. This is only the second time that McMahon has taken the stage for an induction. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was also inducted my McMahon. Other inductees to the 2022 Hall of Fame class include Vader and Sharmell. In addition, Shad Gaspard will receive the Warrior Award as part of the event.
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony kicks off WrestleMania weekend for WWE. WrestleMania will air live on Peacock on April 2 and April 3. Matches for the show include Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Unified World Championship, Edge vs. A.J. Styles, Steve Austin on the KO Show with Kevin Owens, Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship, Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn, The Mysterios vs. Logan Paul & The Miz, and more.
