Shibata and Yuji Nagata had a post-match stare down setting up a potential title match.

(4) IWGP World Hvt. champion Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI beat EVIL & BUSHI from Naito’s faction.

(5) New Japan Cup quarter-final match: Toru Yano beat Satoshi Kojima.

(6) New Japan Cup quarter-final match: Hirooki Goto beat Tama Tonga. Okada continues to recruit Goto to CHAOS.
