Last weekend, Gresham was pulled from his Progress Wrestling commitments due to injury as well. He recently signed a contract with Tony Khan to work in AEW and Ring of Honor and is the Undisputed ROH World Champion. Gresham won that title at ROH Supercard of Honor during WrestleMania weekend. Supercard was the first ROH event since the company took a self-imposed hiatus after the Final Battle PPV in December of 2021. Khan purchased ROH from Sinclair Broadcasting at the beginning of March. Supercard was also the first ROH event under Khan’s control.
Impact Wrestling Rebellion will air live on Fite TV on Saturday April 23. Matches on the show include Bey vs. Edwards, Jonah vs. Tomohiro Ishii, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Taya Valkyrie, Jay White vs. Steve Maclin vs. Chris Sabin, Tasha Steelz vs. Rosemary for the Impact Knockouts Championship, The Influence vs. The IInspiration for the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship, Ace Austin vs. Trey Miguel vs. Mike Bailey for the X-Division Championship, and Moose vs. Josh Alexander for the Impact World Championship.
Alexander won the Impact World Championship at Bound For Glory, but immediately after, Moose cashed in his championship opportunity and won the belt in seconds. Both men have been in a feud together ever since and it culminates during this show.
