SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE will host a 20th anniversary celebration for Randy Orton on Monday Night Raw. The segment was announced during this week’s episode of Smackdown.
WWE has aired various social media videos and released special content on WWE.com to commemorate Orton’s 20th year with WWE. Randy Orton is a 14-time World Champion and former Intercontinental Champion, United States Champion, and Tag Team Champion in WWE. He’s currently a Raw Tag Team Champion with Riddle in RK-Bro.
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will also feature Sonya Deville vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship. Two weeks ago, Deville revealed herself as Belair’s next challenger. The following week, Belair called for Deville to face her right away, but Deville didn’t accept. Belair threatened to hit Deville with the KOD, but thought better of it due to Deville being a WWE official. Later, the match for this week was made official.
Belair won the Smackdown Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. Lynch hasn’t been seen on television since the loss at WrestleMania, but will make her Raw return this week as well.
Deville recently was involved in matches with Naomi as a WWE official. Deville teamed with Charlotte Flair to face Naomi and Ronda Rousey at WWE Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.
