Pretty Deadly ran the gauntlet on Tuesday’s episode of NXT 2.0 and are the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
After the NXT Tag Team Championship was vacated by MSK last week due to Nash Carter being released from WWE, a five team Gauntlet Match was scheduled to crown new champions. The Creed Brothers, Legado Del Fantasma, Grayson Waller & Sanga, Briggs & Jensen, and Pretty Deadly were the five teams awarded the opportunity.

The Creed Brothers started the match with Legado Del Fantasma and got a pinfall over them in four and half minutes. Briggs & Jensen entered the match next and wrestled nearly 14 minutes with The Creed Brothers before losing after a Brutus low lariat. Waller & Sanga were next and battled The Creed Brothers for almost 2o minutes until Julius connected with low lariat on Sanga for the win. From there, Pretty Deadly entered the match. They went for 27 minutes opposite The Creeds and got the victory after connecting with the Spilled Milk finisher.
This is the first NXT Tag Team Championship win for Pretty Deadly. They won the NXT UK Tag Team Championship in February of last year and held those titles for 287 days before losing them to Moustache Mountain.
NXT television this week featured two other championship matches. Cameron Grimes defeated Solo Sikoa for the North American Championship after involvement from Trick Williams. Mandy Rose defeated Dakota Kai to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. After the win, Wendy Choo soaked Rose and the rest of Toxic Attraction with a super soaker as they celebrated in the ring.
