This week on Raw, Lashley made his return to WWE after being away from the company since Elimination Chamber. Lashley injured his shoulder in a match against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. The injury angle to get him off television occurred during the men’s Elimination Chamber match for his WWE Championship. Lesnar would go on to win that match and the title, while Lashley was removed due to a concussion.
Omos has been campaigning for a WrestleMania match for the last three weeks. This week on Raw, Omos beat The Viking Raiders, but was then confronted by Lashley, who shoulder tackled him to the mat, marking the first time Omos was taken off his feet in a WWE ring.
Bobby Lashley is a former WWE United States Champion and WWE Champion. Lashley successfully defended the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre last year at WrestleMania 37. Omos won the Raw Tag Team Championship last year at WrestleMania with A.J. Styles.
Other night two WrestleMania matches include Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar, The Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Championship, A.J. Styles vs. Edge, Austin Theory vs. Pat McAfee, Sami Zayn vs. Johnny Knoxville, and more.
