Ric Flair fired Mark Madden from his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, effectively ending their business relationship together. Madden revealed in a Twitter post that he would be leaving the podcast, but Flair commented after confirming that it was Flair’s choice to end the working partnership.
“I am leaving the Flair Uncensored podcast effective immediately,” Madden said. “It’s not a good fit for me, especially scheduling the prep and taping during my jam-packed work week. Thx to Ric Flair & Pod Heat for the opportunity and for understanding.”

Flair’s response indicated that Madden was fired the gig and the war of words kicked off from there.
“Love and appreciate you Mark Madden, but actually, I relieved you of your duties,” Flair said. “Best of luck with your work! I’ll be back and better than ever next Monday. Going home to my son in law, Conrad Thompson.”

The Woo Nation podcast began in November of 2021 with Madden as host. The show has tackled a multitude of topics including Survivor Series, ownership of “The Man,” C.M. Punk vs. MJF, stories about Verne Gagne, Lex Luger, Vader, Greg Valentine, the history of the “Nature Boy” gimmick, opinions on new stars like Bron Breakker, WWE releases, ratings, and more.
The most recent episode on March 23 covered the new WWE Peacock series, “Evil,” Gable Steveson, Cody Rhodes, and Flair’s thoughts on the upcoming WrestleMania 38 card.
Flair is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, entering as a solo act and as a part of the Four Horsemen. Flair left the WWE in August of 2021.
