The March 9 episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 945,000 viewers, down from 966,000 the prior week and the fourth time in the last six weeks it has averaged fewer than 1 million viewers. This was the first episode after the AEW Revolution PPV three nights earlier.
Although viewership was down and perhaps fairly classified as disappointing, Dynamite finished no. 1 among all cable shows on Wednesday night in the key 18-49 demographic with a 0.40 rating. That was up fr0m last week’s 0.35 and tied with the 0.40 two weeks ago. The ten-week average heading into this week was 0.39, so this week’s rating was right in line with that.
In the 18-49 male demo, it drew a 0.51 rating, in line with the 0.52 average the prior ten weeks.
In the 18-34 demo, it drew a 0.26 rating, in line with the 0.29 average the prior ten weeks.
In our tracking of 3-day viewership of Dynamite, the Feb. 23 episode drew 1.205 million, above the 1.156 million average the prior ten weeks. The Mar. 2 episode drew 1.090 million after three days.
