11/20 AEW DYNAMITE ON-SITE REPORT: Omega, Jackson, Cody interact with the crowd off camera, acknowledge “Suck it, Vince!” sign, more off-air notes and observations

AEW DYNAMITE ON-SITE REPORT

This was seriously just an amazing show and the crowd was insanely hot. We were doing so many chants the whole night.

DARK MATCH

(1) Trent Baretta beat Pentagon Jr. in a great match. This was before the show started.

AFTER DYNAMITE

Cody came out and thanked us for being a great crowd and saying he got word about halfway through the show that they were 100 percent coming back to Indianapolis. He saw a “Suck it, Vince” sign in the crowd. We chanted “Suck it, Vince.” He said he can’t really say anything, because the sign says it all.

DARK TAPING NOTES

(1) Awesome Kong (w/Brandi) absolutely squashed librarian Leva Bates (w/Peter Avalon) and took some of her hair as usual. She also prevented Peter Avalon from helping.

(2) Shanna beat Big Swole. This was an okay match, it was certainly the low point of the night but it wasn’t too bad.

(3) Kenny Omega beat Jack Evans for the AAA Mega Title. This was a pretty great match. The fans were so into this match.

AFTER DARK TAPING

After the match, Nick Jackson came out with merch. They (Kenny and Nick) spoke and said how great of a crowd we were and that they were 100 percent coming back to Indianapolis, but added, “Let’s try to sell it out next time.” They actually asked if we wanted Nick to facetime Matt. Matt picked up and talked about how great of a crowd we were, and his son Zack was there so the crowd loudly chanted “Zack! Zack! Zack!” They threw some free merch out. They pointed out the “Suck it, Vince!” sign and indicated they liked it. They gave out free t-shirts, including the t-shirt that Nick was actually wearing at the time. They then gave out a turnbuckle pad, and they ended up giving it to the person with the “Suck it, Vince” sign. (Fans chanted “Suck it, Vince! Suck it, Vince!” They made some jokes about “how did you get that sign through security?”

FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, I don’t think I’ve enjoyed any live experience more than I enjoyed AEW last night.
