(1) The Revival beat The New Day in 20:00 to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles. It appeared Xavier Woods was legitimately hurt about ten minutes in. The ref did the X symbol. Apparently it’s an Achilles injury. Big E continued the match two-on-one until defeated.
(2) Buddy Murphy beat Sami Zayn. Zayn was the night’s heat magnet versus Australia’s Buddy Murphy. Some cool spots from both wrestlers, as you would expect.
(3) The Kabuki Warriors defeated The Iiconics and Fire & Desire in about 14:00. The Iiconics are popular here – their hometown. No real heelish behavior from Asuka or Kairi. Asuka won with a pin after some hard hitting between all parties.
(4) Kofi Kingston defeated Randy Orton by pinfall after The Revival attempted to interfere in the match, with Big E making the save.
(5) Shinsuke Nakamura (w/Sami Zayn) defeated Ali to retain the Intercontinental Championship in about 15:00. More high impact here again from two classy wrestlers. Sami Zayn attempted to heel it up again earning the ire of the crowd.
(6) Bayley defeated Charlotte to retain the Women’s Championship. Bayley was in FULL “I don’t give a shit” mode, having a go at the audience. Once again, some high-impact moves by talented people.
(7) Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan beat Luke Harper & Rowan in a cage match in about 15 minutes. Quite high impact, with the cage being climbed frequently. All four were effective in selling this match.
FINAL NOTES: Auditorium was probably 90 percent full, which was a bit of a surprise considering the advertised matches were pulled apart and withdrawn on short notice with the draft and everything… Xavier Woods was seen in crutches after the event. Here’s hoping for a quick recovery…
