We opened with clips of Mark Haskins and Jeff Cobb in action ahead of their main event match-up.

-Opening theme.

-In the arena Jay Briscoe entered along for a singles match.

(1) ROH WORLD SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPION & NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPION PCO vs. JAY BRISCOE

Uppercuts from Briscoe and forearms from PCO. Briscoe backdropped PCO to the floor, then backdropped him again onto the sharp edge of the apron. [C]

Kryptonite Crunch from PCO. Doctor bomb. Top rope cannonball. Dragonscrew leg whip. Another cannonball through the ropes to Briscoe standing at ringside. Briscoe caught PCO with a flapjack across the guardrail. He grabbed a steel chair and set it up at ringside. PCO was sat down in the chair and Briscoe hit him with a running crossbody. Briscoe brought the chair into the ring. Pop-up powerbomb from PCO. Sidewinder suplex. PCO went up top for his moonsault but Briscoe cracked him across the head with the chair.

WINNER: PCO in 9:26 by disqualification.

-Mark Briscoe made his way to the ring. The referee tried to talk down Jay but was threatened into running away. Mark slid a table into the ring. PCO was laid across the table for a top rope froggy-bow from Mark. PCO no-sold it and sat up. The Briscoes pummeled him but took a double clothesline.

(Pageot’s Perspective: The Briscoes have been chasing the NWA tag titles since getting screwed by a referee at Crockett Cup so this face-off was logical, while the DQ ending was intended to set up the tag title street fight between the Briscoes and Guerrillas Of Destiny that will be streaming on Honor Club on July 20. The post-match was bad, though. While PCO was getting double-teamed there was no explanation from the announcers as to why his stable mates Marty Scurll and Brody King weren’t making the save. And then it turned out that it didn’t matter anyway because he easily shrugged off a table bump and singlehandedly took out the greatest tag team in ROH history.)

-Mark Haskins was backstage. He said he has mad respect for Cobb but he’s wanted this match for a while. His kids, his wife, and he himself need him to pick up a win over Cobb.

Cobb was elsewhere backstage. He was excited about facing someone new that he hasn’t gotten to suplex yet. He said he might toss Haskins all the way back to England. [C]

-Josh Woods was taping his wrists in the locker room when he was interrupted by QT Marshall “#1” Brian Johnson. Johnson said all the tape wouldn’t fix with what Woods did to the Top Prospect Tournament. Johnson said he’d win the 2019 installment and wouldn’t be a failure like Woods has been since winning the 2017 installment.

-Coast 2 Coast made their entrance for a tag match. Bully Ray walked out and ordered ring announcer Bobby Cruise out of the ring. He was indignant about facing C2C but said he had a partner who was gold.

(2) ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION SHANE TAYLOR & BULLY RAY vs. COAST 2 COAST (Shaheem Ali & LSG)

Taylor and Ali started. Ray immediately went to ringside and threatened to hit a fan with a garbage can. (Guess he doesn’t learn.) He got in the face of a small child and mouthed off. Taylor and Ali ended up starting instead. Headbutt from Ali and tag to LSG. [C]

Ray pulled Ali crotch-first into the ring post behind the referee’s back. Ray & Taylor worked over Ali. Bully bomb connected but he missed a standing splash. Hot tag to LSG at 6:50. Splashes and crossbodies but Taylor kicked out. Ray clotheslined Taylor by mistake. Top rope splash + top rope frog-splash from C2C but Taylor kicked out again. Ray shoved LSG off the top rope to prevent a coast to coast. Greetings From 216 to Ali for the win.

WINNERS: Taylor & Ray in 9:00. [C]

(Pageot’s Perspective: It probably should have been Eli Isom & Ryan Nova here instead of C2C. We just spent months slowly turning them heel on a losing streak in matches with The Bouncers and Colin Delaney only for them to be shunted into the babyface position again here. The crowd was understandably silent for them as a result. When do we get to see Soldiers Of Savagery wrestle? They’ll at least be something new instead of Ray doing the exact same shtick over and over and over and over and over and over and)

-Video recap of Tracy Williams pinning Eli Isom in a four-way at War Of The Worlds: Grand Rapids on May 11 to earn a future world title match. That’s happening next week.

(3) “THE HAWAIIAN JUGGERNAUT” JEFF COBB vs. “OVERKILL” MARK HASKINS

Basic action into the first break. [C]

They traded chops. Cobb slammed Haskins into the turnbuckle to break an armbar attempt. Cobb bludgeoned Haskins in the ropes. Haskins with a suicide dive. Top rope double-stomp. Deadlift piledriver from Cobb for two. [C]

Cobb grabbed the bottom rope to prevent an armbreaker. Haskins yanked off the apron into a spinning side-slam at ringside. Both men rolled in at the ref’s count of 19. They traded strikes. Snap German suplex from Cobb. Standing moonsault. Cobb blocked a sharpshooter. Haskins with a death valley driver. Cobb avoided another double-stomp and hit Tour Of The Islands.

WINNER: Jeff Cobb in 14:15.

(Pageot’s Perspective: Good match prevented from being great by the multiple commercial breaks. Lifeblood’s gimmick is that they’re skilled wrestlers who believe in fighting clean but they almost always lose. It’s an odd story to tell for a company built around the concept of “honor.”)

-Next week: it’s Matt Taven vs. Tracy Williams for the world title and The Kingdom vs. The Bouncers.
