SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
AEW’s next big show, All Out, which is set to take place on Aug. 31 in Chicago sold out in under 15 minutes, although some people said on Twitter they were able to purchase a ticket after waiting for 40 minutes. When tickets went on sale, over 50,000 were in que to purchase a ticket.
AEW has announced Chris Jericho vs. Hangman Page to crown the first AEW Champion and Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega as the headline matches for the show so far.
There were no measures taken against ticket scalpers to make it more difficult for them to log in and purchase tickets, so it’s possible that a lot of tickets could hit the secondary market, but nothing is known right now in terms of how many tickets were purchased by ticket agencies.
After the sellout, AEW continued Chris Jericho’s storyline of wanting a thank you for AEW’s success. Jericho recently said he won’t be at AEW’s upcoming Fyter Fest streaming event on B/R Live on June 29 because he hasn’t gotten a proper thank you. You can see Jericho’s latest message below:
