SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

WWE did not even tell the wrestlers involved the Money in the Bank ladder match last night that Brock Lesnar was going to be the winner. Wrestlers participating in the match went to the ring not knowing who was going to win. In fact, PWTorch can confirm an earlier PWInsider report that Mustafa Ali was told during the day he was winning, which was a late change in and of itself from the impression given at the TV shows last week. Both Drew McIntyre and Andrade were rumored to be the leading contenders as of last week.

Just before the match began, wrestlers were told backstage that the eighth entrant, a mystery wrestler, would tip Ali over at the end just as it appeared he was going to win. They weren’t told whom it would be, though.

Brock Lesnar wasn’t seen all day and only appeared just before he went to the ring to tip over the ladder and win.
