TAPED FOR MAIN EVENT
(A) No Way Jose & Zack Ryder beat Tyler Breeze & Curt Hawkins. Hawkins got a couple near falls. Lots of “Woo woo woo” from Zach and the crowd.
(B) Mickie James & Alicia Fox beat Dana Brooke & Ember Moon. Ember got a good pop. Okay heel heat for Fox and James. James sold a nee injury early. Dana tagged in. Mickie DDT’d her to win.
RAW NOTES
-Renee Young got the best pop when announcers came out.
-The crowd popped for Vince McMahon getting out of his limo.
-The crowd was into Braun and got a good laugh out of Elias’s song.
-There was little crowd reaction in any way when Vince announced he taking the Universal Title shot away from Braun.
-Ronda Rousey got a big pop, but Sasha Banks’s pop wasn’t far behind.
-Memphis still loves Jerry Lawler. His only appearance was the cameo leaving Vince’s office.
-The crowd liked chanting “No Chance in Hell!” Big love for both Vince and John Cena.
-Baron Corbin has serious heel heat.
-Finn Balor got a great crowd response all night.
-Nikki Cross got a nice pop for someone who hadn’t been on Raw before.
-There are still fans cheering for Dean Ambrose. Too many. The crowd was hot for the second half of the IC Title match.
-Brock Lesnar’s name was booed when Paul Heyman talked.
-Cena got the best reaction of the night every time he appeared, including for the main event at the end of the night. A little kid sitting next to me burst out crying when Balor won and Cena lost. It was his first WWE show and he was dressed in Cena gear.
-The most prominent merchandise was for Steve Austin’s “Stone Cold” and “Austin 3:16.” No sign of AEW merchandise yet, but “Bullet Club” was still prominent. There was also a good mix of merchandise for Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Ronda Rousey, and John Cena.
POST-RAW HAPPENINGS
-Corbin and Drew attacked Cena and Balor. Drew got on the mic and said he didn’t get pinned and Corbin didn’t get pinned. He delivered a Claymore to Balor. He then said Lesnar will finish Balor. He went for a Claymore on Cena, but Cena moved and the kick hit Corbin instead. Cena gave an Attitude Adjustment to Drew. Balor then delivered a Coup de Grace. The crowd left happy.

Oh great, here is the whole “crowd goes home happy” propaganda after a Cena match. What happened to changing things in the WWE in 2019?
