TAPED FOR “MAIN EVENT”

(1) Titus O’Neil pinned Curt Hawkins.

(2) The Revival defeated Tyler Breeze & Zack Ryder

RAW TAPING

(1) Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Zigger in a steel cage by pinfall. After the match Drew attacked Dolph and he grabbed the mic and said he should of back off and that he was going to win the Royal Rumble.

They showed Shane McMahon and Triple H getting out a limo.

Seth Rollins came out pumped up, saying he doesn’t believe in a New Year’s Resolution because every day is a new start and then he wants an Intercontinental Championship rematch. Triple H came out to confront Seth Rollins, saying that he is not the person that he was in the ring with at WrestleMania. He said there will be an Intercontinental Title match, but not with Seth Rollins because he was facing Bobby Lashley later on in the night. He that there was going to be a battle royal for the no. 1 contender for the championship. Shane McMahon came out to break up Seth Rollins and Triple H. Then out came Finn Balor because he was competing in the battle royal.

(2) Apollo Crews won a battle royal by eliminating Baron Corbin to win. Baron Corbin stayed in the ring and said how he was screwed. He was interrupted by Elias. Elias said that Baron Corbin was managing Raw like the broken down city of Detroit, but then he said that Detroit is making a comeback into a better city. He sang a song and Baron Corbin started running. They fought. They brawled throughout the arena and Corbin ran away, leaving Elias standing tall.

Natalya was interviewed and then she was confronted by Nia Jax and Tamina. They attacted Natalya

(3) Sasha Banks & Ember Moon & Bailey defeated The Riott Squad by pinfall.

(4) Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers defeated Heath Slater & Rhyno in a three-on-two handicap match by pinfall

(5) Bobby Lashley (w/Lio Rush) defeated Seth Rollins by DQ after Rollins hit Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush with a chair.

(6) Dean Ambrose pinned Apollo Crews to retain the Intercontinental Championship.

(7) Ronda Rousey & Natalya defeated Nia Jax & Tamina by submission.

DARK MATCH

Shane McMahon came out and said how he loves coming to Detroit. He announced Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose in a steel cage for the Intercontinental Championship.

(1) Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins by escaping the cage to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
