SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE SUPER SHOW-DOWN ON-SITE REPORT
OCTOBER 6, 2018
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA AT MCG STADIUM
REPORT BY MICK FROM SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, PWTORCH CORRESPONDENT
-The crowd was mostly males ranging from 20-35, with a splatter of different shirts in crowd. Bullet Club and John Cena shirts dominated the audience.
-Biggest pop of the night was for Buddy Murphy’s victory for Cruiserweight Championship, and that would have to be followed by Undertaker and Triple H entrances.
-Disappointment of night was Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz, with a buzz in our section when match started, but with a surprise finish, it was a stunned and bemused silence.
-Roman Reigns was booed (bizarro world) but were very in to the whole match overall. Becky Lynch and Charlotte, in my opinion, was match of night, with a loud “Becky” chant throughout match.
-I paid approximately $200 AUD for my ticket and we were seated on first level of stadium seating.
-It was a good experience overall, being my first big PPV-style event, and the general consensus of people in crowd of enjoyable show.
-Fun note of night: Two kids were entertaining our section of crowd, doing different moves to each other, including a spear and a kip up that really got the crowd going! (They were okay, no one was hurt!)
