Tuesday night’s WWE Smackdown Live (8/14) drew a 1.55 rating, the lowest rating since July 10 and down from last week’s 1.60 rating. It’s right in line with the June and July averages which were 1.57, but below the 2018 average of 1.70.
Viewership was 2.189 million.
One year ago it drew a 1.74 rating and two years ago it drew a 1.89 rating.
Smackdown’s viewership was good enough in the 18-49 demographic to lock down the top spot in Tuesday night’s cable ratings with a 0.7 rating in that demo. The 2.2 million viewers was below the 2.9 million drawn by Rachel Maddow on MSNBC and Hannity onFox News. Smackdown was one of only four shows on Tuesday night that drew more than 2 million viewers.
In another ratings, in the cable rankings for the week of Aug. 6-10, Raw’s three hours (which are ranked individually) and Smackdown finished in positions 2, 3, 4, and 5 among all cable shows, behind only VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood 5.” Miz & Mrs. finished at no. 24 with a 0.5 rating that week and 602,000 viewers in the 18-49 demo.
