Matt Striker was the host.
(1) Tons of Funk beat Rhodes Scholars. Before the match, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow introduced each other as “best friends.”
World Hvt. champion Dolph Ziggler cut a backstage promo talking about his tag match later on.
(2) Divas champion Kaitlyn beat A.J. Lee to retain the Divas Title. Kaitlyn won with the Spear.
Paul Heyman cut a backstage promo talking about Curtis Axel. Heyman got huge heat for mispronouncing Illinois.
(3) Curtis Axel beat R-Truth.
(4) The Miz beat Antonio Cesaro in a 2/3 Falls match, as voted by the fans. Cesaro won the first fall over a “returning” Miz, who then won Falls 2 and 3.
Afterward, The Shield came down through my section to the ring to attack Miz. But, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, and Kane saved the day. This led to…
(5) Daniel Bryan & Kane & Chris Jericho beat The Shield via DQ. Afterward the finish, Kane was attacked, but Bryan made the save. This led to intermission.
Of note, the arena was two-thirds full. The merchandise table was packed, but there were no D-Bryan t-shirts.
(5) IC champion Wade Barrett beat Sheamus via count-out to retain the Intercontinental Title. Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick after the match.
(6) Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriguez beat World Hvt. champion Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston via submission. Ricardo hit a nice dive to the outside on Big E. during the match.
Then, we heard “Excuse Me!” followed by coughing…it was Brad Madodx. He said that Vickie Guerrero is not here, but Brrrrrrraaaaaaddddd Maddox is. He issued an open challenge, which was answered by Hornswoggle. Maddox asked where his mommy is.
(7) Hornswoggle beat Brad Maddox with a Tadpole Splash. Hornswoggle also hit a Stunner to a big pop.
(8) WWE champion John Cena beat Ryback in a Tables match to retain the WWE Title. Ryback actually broke three tables – two by throwing steel steps through them and one by breaking the stand. He said, “The next one to break will be because I throw Cena through it. Ryback Rules!” Of course, Ryback took the Attitude Adjustment through the table for Cena to win.
We left to Fandango’s theme music to close out the show.
