Raw Rating: Key metrics for show headlined by Owens vs. Balor, plus Rousey, Reigns, Tag Battle Royal

The June 5 episode of WWE Raw on USA Network drew a 1.74 rating last night among live and same-night-DVR viewers. It’s the lowest non-holiday rating in years, but above last week’s Memorial Day rating of 1.70. The last non-holiday rating in this vicinity was June 12, 2017, which drew a 1.75 rating.

Raw drew 2.594 million viewers in the first hour, 2.593 million viewers in the second hour, and 2.390 million in the third hour. The drop-off of 204,000 from the first to the third hour of use 204,000 is the lowest since Apr. 23 and almost 50 percent less than the 395,000 average drop-off this year.

One year ago this week, Raw popped a 2.04 rating, well above the 1.75 from the week before. Two years ago this week, Raw drew a 2.28 rating.

Last night’s episode featured a Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor main event, plus an appearance by Ronda Rousey, and Roman Reigns returned and wrestled after taking last week off.

The average for May was 1.86. The ten week rolling average is 2.08, which still includes the annual peak ratings for WrestleMania season.
