“MAIN EVENT” TAPING
(1) No Way Jose defeated Mike Kanellis. Nothing special. NWJ won with his finisher
(2) Drew Gulak beat Akira Tozawa via submission.
RAW NOTES
-There were a lot of women and children in the crowd, especially kids.
-The crowd was hot for Elias and popped hard for Seth Rollins.
-There was a big pop for Roman. “Let’s Go Roman!” chants were huge and easily drowned out “Roman Sucks!” chants
-The crowd kept getting up and leaving for most matches and segments. While the arena was full, it never really looked it because of people coming and going.
-The crowd was not into the Curt Hawkins segment. They just wanted tacos.
-Ronda Rousey got a big pop, but match between Nia and Natty came out flat.
-Braun vs Roode was typical Brain match, was very boring live, ladder spot was cool.
-The crowd was not feeling Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy.
-The fans were not happy about Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre being one of the first eliminated, but were happy B-Team won
-The Sami Zayn-Bobby Lashley segment came off horrible live. It was long and hard to keep interest.
-The six-women tag garnered little interest except for Sasha Banks, which got a great pop but was overshadowed by Bayley’s run-in.
-Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens was a great match. The crowd was really in to it, especially because of all the kids who were cheering for Balor.
DARK MATCH
(1) Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins & Bobby Lashley beat Elias & Jinder Mahal & Sami Zayn. This was your basic “send the crowd home happy” match. They took some pics with the fans after.
