Evansville, Ind.

(1) Fandango beat The Miz via roll-up. Big pop for Miz and heat for Fandango. They both performed well. After the match, Fandango beat up Miz some more, but Miz fought back and put Fandango in the figure-four leglock. Good fun!
(2) The Usos beat the Prime Time Players. The audience liked the moves and the match, overall, but neither team was a fan-favorite. The Usos won with a big splash from the top rope onto Darren Young. The crowd liked the Usos at the end and the Players were good.
(3) Alberto Del Rio beat Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) in a Fans’s Vote No DQ match. Good pre-match promo by Swagger and Zeb Colter and a good No DQ match. They used kendo sticks and chairs a lot. Del Rio won, then signed autographs and took pictures afterward.
(4) Dean Ambrose beat R-Truth. Quick back and forth match.
After the match, The Shield ganged up on R-Truth, but Team Hell No made the save. This turned into a tag match.
(5) WWE tag champions Kane & Daniel Bryan beat Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins via DQ. Good match and everyone loved Kane. Ambrose interfered in the match, hitting Kane with a chair.
After the match, R-Truth tried to help Team Hell No. Kane then chokeslammed Seth Rollins and The Shield took off, then Truth left the ring. Kane kept both tag belts from Bryan, who sold being upset. Kane suggested they hugged, then Kane gave Bryan his title belt and everyone celebrated.
WWE aired an Extreme Rules PPV plug leading into intermission. So far, a great show overall.
Post-intermission results…
(6) U.S. champion Kofi Kingston beat Antonio Cesaro to retain the U.S. Title. Great Match, and lots of high-flying. The match started with Cesaro telling the crowd that he would make Evansville famous by winning the U.S. Title. Fabulous match.
(7) Divas champion Kaitlyn beat Tamina Snuka. The match started with Vickie Guerrero telling the crowd how good Tamina is. This set up Tamina to be the heel the entire match. The match was okay; I’m not a fan of divas matches, but a funny note: the referee got caught up in some cat fighting and they knocked him down and were rolling over him. So, he just up and jumped around for joy! The Divas looked repulsed, but it was a huge crowd-favorite move. Good match, noting special.
(8) John Cena & Sheamus & Randy Orton beat Ryback & Mark Henry & Big Show in a six-man tag match pairing up Extreme Rules opponents. Huge pops for the babyfaces. Overall, a great match, and awesome to see all of those A-Listers in Evansville. I did notice that all of their timing was awesome, whether it be during a move or timing out when to get up to hit a big finisher. The match could not have gone better.
After the match, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and John Cena said hello to the crowd, then Orton and Cena left. Sheamus stayed out there and high-fived everyone until there was no one left. That was cool.
Special Note: I met Kofi Kingston at a gas station after the event. He was pumping gas and I got to say hello. That was cool.
