3/3 NXT in Royal Oak, Mich.: Gargano & LaRae vs. Almas & Vega, Velveteen vs. Aleister, Kairi vs. Baszler, plus Undisputed Era, Dakota Kai, Lars

(1) Kassius Ohno beat Lars Sullivan. There were dueling chants for Lars and Ohno to start the match. The finish came when Ohno missed a moonsault and Lars hit a diving headbutt.

(2) Dakota Kai beat Lacey Evans. Before the match, Evans cut a promo heeling on Detroit. She can really talk NXT has a star on there hands if handled right. Dakota won with a nice looking double stomp. After the match, Shayna Baszler attacking Kai and choked her out.

(3) Angelo Dawkins beat Cezar Bononi in about three minutes. Something tells me this was supposed to be tag because Bononi had another dude with a Brazilian fighter gimmick with him. Angelo cut a promo before the match saying Montez Ford had to miss the show due to oral surgery.

(4) Adam Cole beat Donovan Dijak in 12:00 after a Shining Wizard. Cole got a massive pop and Dijak now going by Chris Dijak. Very good match.

(5) Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) beat Heavy Machinery. New entrance music for Fish & O’Reilly. Undisputed Era won with a rollup after a distraction by Cole. After the match they were celebrating in the aisle when Lars Sullivan chased them back to the ring. Then Heavy Machinery hit their finisher on them.

(6) Shayna Baszler beat Kairi Sane via DQ. Dakota Kai makes the save for Sane and then Sane dropped an elbow.

(7) Alister Black beat Velveteen Dream in 16:oo with Black Mass. Both were very over and the crowd was hot for the entire match. A lot of the stuff from their Takeover match.

(8) Johnn Gargano & Candice LaRae beat Andrade Cien Almas & Zelina Vega in 15:00. A very good back and forth match. Zelena is gold. The match ended with Candace and Johnny both locking in the Gargano Escape.
