-Previews of WARGAMES including the build to the match beyond itself.

WOMAN ON TOP

Zelina Vega is easily one of the best and most effective valets that the NXT Universe has seen, possibly ever. Her preparation and makeover of a lost Andrade could have been one of the great underdog stories of the year. Instead they decided to claw and scratch their way to the top as heels, and have proven that together they can be most effective.

So when NXT champion Drew McIntyre denied Vega’s challenge because Andrade didn’t initiate the provocation himself, he obviously wasn’t prepared for what would come next: an attack from the Challenger leaving him flat on his back, with a contract glued to his chest via Zelinas chewing gum. Tonight, all three will face off with 4 days until Houston. At this point, anything can happen.

A MERCEDES ON THE MOON”

The other Superstar to really keep your eye on tonight is Ember Moon. Her three opponents for the Fatal four-way this Saturday have all had warm-up matches, and all came out with a victory. She will clash with Mercedes Martinez who has been talking trash for a couple weeks now. Will Ember be able to walk into Takeover with a W and some momentum? Logic says yes, and considering that Asuka is now on the main roster, it doesn’t seem like anyone will stop Ember on her Quest To Rule The Division.

MAKE NO MISTAKE, THE WAR IS COMING”

Sort of strange that Adam Cole and Roderick strong faced off last week which led to a giant brawl of all parties involved in the WarGames match up. It seemed like it would have made the most sense to close out the go home show, but alas it happened and it was a great exclamation point to end on. While it doesn’t seem like any of them are slated for tonight’s episode, expect many previews to build up this fight that hasn’t been seen in 20 years.

-If there is one match that can use an additional spot, it’s the Hoss fight between Lars Sullivan and Kassius Ohno. Lars has been on a tear destroying much smaller talent for the better part of two months, and Kassius isn’t about any of it.

– Velveteen Dream scored a victory over Cezar Bonani last Wednesday. He goes in to Houston fully intending to get Aleister Black to scream his name. That is of course, if Black doesn’t kill him first.

-Johnny Gargano is in desperate need of a win, but he may be barking up the wrong tree. On Saturday he will clash with United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne for Dunne’s U.K. title. Unfortunately, the match will not air probably until the following Wednesday.

Lots of other stuff to look out for like the resurging tag-team scene including the Street Profits and Heavy Machinery. You watching?
