WHAT WWE HAS ANNOUNCED…
- Jinder Mahal to make massive Survivor Series announcement.
- Bobby Roode versus Dolph Ziggler in a rematch from HIAC.
- Sami Zayn kicks off Smackdown Live!
“A CHALLENGE TO THE BEAST”
Fresh off a title defense in his “homeland” of India Jinder Mahal has promised to issue a statement about his future title reign, and what opponent he wishes to face. Most likely that opponent will be the Universal Champion, the Beast, the Conqueror, Brock freaking Lesnar in a non-title champion vs. champion match. While all of this is just rumored speculation, it also would make the most sense as a headliner for one of the WWE’s “BIG FOUR” pay-per-views, and considering Jinder was just on ESPN claiming that he wants a shot at the Mayor of Suplex City I’m willing to believe it’s true. Guess I’ll have to tune in to find out.
“SAY IT ISN’T SO”
As if Jinder’s massive announcement already wasn’t enough, we’ll be hearing more from Sami Zayn about his recent actions at Hell in a Cell. Last week he claimed that all the goodness he sought to be in the industry got him absolutely nowhere, and that the so-called “Land of Opportunity” motto of SD Live that Shane McMahon promised him was nothing more than a blatant lie. As the build to Survivor Series starts it will be exciting to see where the former Likeable One fits in to the mix.
“NEW INMATES OF THE PENITENTIARY”
After a slobberknocker of matches with the New Day the Usos are finally ready to move on. Jey and Jimmy called a truce with the Unicorn Train and admitted that their recent classic at Hell in a Cell earned their respect. The champions don’t have any time to rest though, as the newly formed Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin have already earned the next title shot winning a fatal-four way over Breezango, the Ascension, and the obviously tormented Hype Bros. Breezango at least will now have time to continue to focus on their 2B case, which unfortunately is still not closed. I wonder if the newly formed BLUNGEON BROTHERS had anything to do with that.
“CAN WE SURVIVE THESE SERIES OF SHOWDOWNS?”
-Bobby Roode may have won his first PPV match but Dolph Ziggler was the one who landed the biggest hit. These two will go at it once again tonight in Seattle.
-Charlotte has every right to challenge again for Natalya’s Smackdown women’s championship, but with Survivor Series slowly approaching that may not take place until the blue brands next brand specific PPV. Ms. Money in the Bank Carmella however, could absolutely take advantage of any situation and cash-in.
-Kevin Owens may have challenged for the WWE Championship against Jinder Mahal in India, but he’s still nursing his wounds left on him by Shane McMahon. Will the commissioner be making a return to confront Owens once again?
-Baron Corbin will be in action after successfully defending his United States Championship against former champ A.J. Styles. Who will be brave enough to step into the ring with the Lone Wolf?
-What will happen now with superstars Styles, Nakamura, or the Viper Randy Orton? All of them seem up in the air after their most recent feuds. Your guess is as good as mine.
Interesting show on the horizon. You watching?
