-Roman Reigns vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship
-Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman
“An Army of One”
After an impressive victory over John Cena, Roman Reigns has now hit a wall called the Miztourage. The A-lister had the Big Dawg on MizTV and had the gall to infer that he and his posse (Bo Dallas amd Curtis Axel) would have been a credible threat to the Shield. Roman laughed it off, believing that if he and his former brotherin were on good terms they would utterly destroy the Miz amd his lackeys. This led to a non-title matchup between Miz and Roman that led to a post-match beatdown. The Miztourage even went as far as to mock the Shields pose in order to cause further controversy. As for tonight, Roman and Miz will face off again, this time for the Miz’s Intercontinental Championship. Can Roman become a grand slam champion? Not too likely since he’ll probably be fending off the Miztourage by himself.
“The Cover Boy faces a Monster”
The reason being that Seth Rollins has his focus entirely set on Braun Strowman. After the Monster Among Men MDK’d Curt Hawkins, he made easy work of Seths tag-team partner Dean Ambrose. Seth criticized Dean for being unpredictable, but Dean fired back and claimes Seth to be too calculated. Seth agreed, and responded by challenging Strowman one on one. Knowing the architect, I’d assume he has a plan.
“Return of the Mick”
Alexa Bliss narrowly escaped No Mercy with her Raw Women’s Championship and last week she took the opportunity to rub it all in our faces. This brought out Mickie James, who if you recall made her return to the main roster as an allie of young Bliss. However, she like the rest of us are sick of Alexa’s disrespect of the division, and even laid out the champion to prove her worth as the next challenger. I’m actually fine with that.
Meanwhile, Sasha and Bayley may be in a stagnant auto-pilot until this feud with the M.M.A. Horsewomen comes to fruition.
“Mile High Altitudes”
-Finn Balor squashed a quick beef with Goldust, but apparently is still not done dealing with Bray Wyatt. How many times must the Eater of Worlds lose before he realizes that his prophecies are false? (My guess is…ALL THE LOSSES.)
-Sheamus and Cesaro may have proven their worth as an entertaining duo, but that didn’t save them from The Beast Brock Lesnar destroying Sheamus in a Universal Title match. With the tag champions destined for a Shield reunion, we’ll see what The Bar has in their future.
-Titus Worldwide may be a successful brand name, but the members associated haven’t exactly been on a winning streak. It seems that Titus O’Neil may beging taking business into his own hands, and The Drifter Elias may be the first order up.
-Neville may have gotten redemption on Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, but Zo got even with a crutch on 205 Live. General Manager Kurt Angle did say that he would deny anyone who touches Enzo a title shot, but something tells me he’ll be retracting that statement.
