GFW Impact Rating: Big drop up against Chiefs vs. Patriots NFL game, key metrics and perspective (w/Keller’s Analysis)

GFW Impact Wrestling on Pop TV last night took a big hit up against the season premiere of the NFL. It drew 227,000 viewers, over 100,000 down from last year’s 337,000 viewership the same week.  The viewership is also down from last week’s 268,000.

August averaged 287,000, down from the July and June average of 313,000. The July and June average last year was 340,000.

Keller’s Analysis: The trend downward is not encouraging after a semi-encouraging June and July. The 287,000 average in August is back to where they were in January and February and April and May before an uptick in viewership in June and July. The 227,000 last night is an ominous sign for how they’ll do up against stiffer competition this fall and winter.
