Ric Flair remains in critical condition with “multiple organ problems,” according to his fiancée, who released a statement on Facebook earlier today.

“Just want to give an update to my friends and family as I have been unable to talk on the phone without crying and just feel shocked over events,” Wendy Barlow wrote in a Facebook post. “I took Ric to the hospital Friday night with severe abdominal pain. From that moment on it all seems like a nightmare … multiple organ problems.” (TMZ posted a screen shot of the Facebook post.)

PWTorch sources close to Flair and his family have indicated they are looking for privacy during a difficult time and will release information when there are any new developments they want to share. Flair has serious issues with his heart and kidney, and is recovering from serious surgery. The hope is he starts showing signs of improvement post-surgery.

Not a lot has been said publicly by the family, but Charlotte Flair wrote on Instagram yesterday: “Hi guys, On behalf of my family and I, we want to THANK everyone for the prayers, texts, calls and support. Our Dad is a FIGHTER and your continued thoughts and prayers MEAN THE WORLD to us. We will update everyone when we have more information.”
