SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-Brock Lesnar is scheduled to defend his WWE Universal Championship (remember that title?) at a newly named WWE PPV called “Great Balls of Fire” on July 9. The July 9 event was previously called “Bad Blood.” This is not a joke.

-Last night’s Impact Wrestling on Pop TV drew 255,000 viewers among live and same-night-DVR viewing. That is the lowest viewership number since it drew 252,000 on Feb. 9. The monthly average for April lands at 296,500, just a notch below the 2017 average of 297,000. The ten week rolling average headed into this week was 306,200, so this is a significant change of recent “momentum” above the early year numbers. That said, they were up against the start of the NFL draft, plus both round two NHL and round one NBA playoff games. One year ago, Impact drew 332,000 on Pop TV, so it’s a significant dropoff. Other than holiday numbers Christmas week and Thanksgiving night, it’s one of the two worst viewership number on Pop TV.

-WWE sent us a note saying photos that are supposedly of Alexa Bliss nude are fakes. She responded on Twitter.
