SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
Last night’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling on Pop TV drew 303,000 viewers, down from last week’s 338,000.
Keller’s Analysis: The 303,000 is the lowest viewership number for a non-holiday edition since Oct. 13, and well below the 10 week rolling overage (excluding Thanksgiving evening) of 332,400 and the fall average (also excluding Thanksgiving) or 339,000.
Impact averaged 340,000 in August, 359,000 in September, 326,000 in October, 338,000 in November (excluding Thanksgiving), and just 320,000 in December so far.
There can be a one week blip here and there, but the trend since a relatively strong September is not good.
I don’t know if I call that a blip. It’s gone up and down every month for the 4 months. Not counting this month just yet.
The viewership started going down as football season began and as Thursday Night Football premiered in September. Also, November and December are holiday months and viewership goes down for all of television.
One final thing from me over here:
The high point in viewership was in September. Which was an increase from August. A huge decrease in September. But keep bouncing back the next 2 months. And this month just started. I don’t see any real concern.
Disappointing. Still hovering above 300,000 and always consistent on the top 150. Still good there.
Raiders / Chiefs game hurt them. That was a big time game last night on TNF. Haze’s Chiefs beating DA Raiders.
Total Nonstop Deletion will probably bring in over 400,000 viewers next week.
