SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
-TNA Impact Wrestling drew a mere 165,000 viewers on Thanksgiving evening last week on Pop TV, well below the prior ten-week average of 342,600.
-Stephanie McMahon wasn’t on Raw last night. She is in China to be a keynote speaker at the LeSports Connects event in China, the first international sports conference ever in China.
-In addition to Tess Blanchard and Zane Riley appearing in the Sheamus/Cesaro skit on Raw last night, as we reported last night, ProWrestling.net reports that another Premier Wrestling Federation wrestler Montana Black was also in the skit. Zane belched and Black got in Sheamus’s face.
-WWE is planning an all-women’s tournament in early 2017, with tapings beginning the first week in January. This is expected to be similar to the Cruiserweight Classic in terms of presentation and format. This will likely expand the depth of the women’s division on the main Raw and Smackdown programs, as its very likely a few women from the indy scene being signed for the tournament will stand out and be signed. PWInsider reports women are already being contacted for availability.
