WWE announces Network subscriptions end Q3 just over 1M domestically, nearly 1.5M overall

Today WWE released quarter three financial data including domestic Network subscriptions at 1.071 million. Total Network subscriptions worldwide averaged 1.487 million and closed at 1.444 million. Total network subscriptions worldwide in Q2 averaged 1.517 million ended Q2 at 1.511.

The average during Q3 was 1.520 million, which is up from the 1.454 million the day after WrestleMania 32 earlier this year. They have settled in between those two numbers in Q3.

Keller’s Analysis: Considering Q4 2015 data was 1.22 million paid subscribers, which itself was a nearly 50 percent jump over Q4 2014, WWE can frame the stability of the subscriptions now as a positive, but the rapid incline just isn’t there and it’s hard to foresee what will cause an increase to the 2.0 million mark. Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is WWE’s best chance now to end Q4 with a better number than the Q3 data released today.
