SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
-The second episode of the “Total Bellas” reality TV series on E! network starting John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Brie Bella, and Nikki Bella, with an early on-camera role for John Laurinaitis, drew 756,000 viewers last night. The premiere episode last week drew a moderately disappointing 632,000. Check out our PWTorch report of the show by our “Total Bellas” reviewer Sarah K. here.
-Lucha Underground last night on El Rey drew 135,000 viewers on the first airing and 46,000 on the second airing. That’s up a little from 114,000 and 59,000 last week (181,000 total this week vs. 173,000 total last week.) These last two weeks are up from two weeks ago when total viewership was 123,000 (85,000 + 38,000).
-Photos are circulating today of Undertaker on two crutches. This will rev up the usual annual rumors that he’s not physically or mentally up for a return at WrestleMania next year. He is usually considered “doubtful” at this time each year and as the date approaches, and a money offer is made by WWE, he ends up motivated to get in ring shape and give it another try.
-Michael Elgin is out with an orbital bone injury, suffered during a live event earlier this week in Japan. He will be replaced Jay Lethal in challenging Tetsuya Naito for the NJPW Intercontinental Title on Nov. 5.
