Lesnar advertised for future Raw, James Ellsworth title shot, WWE comments on Paige suspension, Smackdown line-up next week

-During Raw on Monday night, WWE advertised Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Title and Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the U.S. Title in dark matches at the Oct. 24 Raw in Minneapolis, Minn. at Target Center. Today Target Center announced that Brock Lesnar will appear on the Oct. 24 Raw, also, which will be one week after Goldberg is scheduled to appear on the Raw in Denver, Col. to answer Lesnar’s challenge.

-Curt Hawkins match was cut from Smackdown last night because the show was running long, according to a PWInsider report. Hawkins had promoted on No Mercy that he’d be on Smackdown this week. It says something the priority placed on him as an act to have his segment cut without WWE feeling a need to address it on the show.

-AJ Styles vs. James Ellsworth for the WWE Championship

-Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin.

-Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss.

-WWE is advertising now an A.J. Styles vs. James Ellsworth match with the WWE Heavyweight Title on the line, based on Ellsworth beating Styles last night thanks to Dean Ambrose interfering as a referee. Also, Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin and Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss. Presumably Hawkins will wrestle on Smackdown next week also.

-WWE released a statement to the New York Post regarding Paige’s suspension. “Saraya-Jade Bevis tested positive for an illegal substance, not a prescription drug,” WWE’s statement to The Post read. “In addition, WWE is providing world-class medical care for her in-ring injury.”
