TNA Impact viewership dipped in the final airing before the Bound for Glory PPV.

September 29: TNA Impact drew 365,000 viewers, down three percent from last week’s audience of 377,000 viewers.
Impact has hovered in this range the past month. Since moving to Thursday nights in July, Impact has averaged 351,000 viewers in the timeslot.
– DEMOGRAPHICS: Impact drew a median age viewer of 55.5 years-old, slightly younger than last week.
However, the show drew fewer adults 18-49 viewers, falling to a seven-week low in a18-49.
Included was a dip in males 18-49 viewers and a slight increase in females 18-49 viewers following the soap opera lead-in.
The resulting split for Impact was 56 percent m18-49 and 44 percent f18-49.
Caldwell’s Analysis: The chief reason why potential TNA buyers are focusing on the tape library is captured by Impact’s audience – Pop TV does not having enough traction in the marketplace to be worth the financial investment to keep new content going unless there is a whole lot of cash coming in. Prospective buyers have the mentality to either buy the tape library or distribute Impact via alternative means as part of a portfolio.
Pop was a fine match for TNA trying to rebound from losing Spike TV and Destination America, but the long-term outlook for TNA in the timeslot is half-a-million viewers at most, nowhere close to the predicted 1.0 million viewers by the Pop TV president at the beginning of the year.
